Born in an entrepreneurial family, Joo has been part of business building from an early age, brought up to always see the good in people and the value of hard work.

Started her career in the aftermath of the financial crises in 2009, taking on distressed companies at Handelsbanken. The drive to fully understand how a business is constructed to succeed she left for management consulting. Heading the strategy offering she gained an extensive understanding for strategy, business model innovation and strategy implementation. Prior to funding Vera she spent time building the business development and M&A capability at Sandvik Coromant.
